I was walking down a dirt road the other day and saw something standing dead still in the middle of it. It hissed a nasty noise (I promise I saw spit!) and jumped straight up. It scared the living daylights out of me, so....
I tried to walk around it, but it moved in my path. It came toward me, with beady eyes and its slimy tongue, and I knew I had act quickly! I turned to find something, anything, that would protect me and suddenly there were two! The crazy thing was that they seemed to be working together to keep me from walking down this dirt road. I thought to myself.....sfountain
Were more of these creepy turtles going to pop out of thin air? I continued to look for something that I could use to get these ugly creatures away from me but there was nothing in sight. The turtles were surrounding me. It was like they did not want me to move from where I was standing, but I had to find something to get them out of my way. I moved to left and they stretched their long stretchy necks to block me from being able to move. I tried to move to the right and the same. The necks on these things were incredibly long. I could not escape! I had to get on my way because I had somewhere that I had to be. Suddenly out of the corner of my eye..... abetbeze
I saw a larger animal moving so quickly that I could not make out what it was. I blinked and the strange animal was gone, and one of the turtles went with it! He seemed to have vanished into thin air! I was confused to say the least and didn't know what to do next. The remaining turtle seemed to be just a bewildered as I was. He was not as interested in me anymore. We both were in a daze. I thought to myself.....cbowman
If only I could get this turtle to vanish as easily as that other one did! I looked in the turtle's eyes and since he was looking confused I thought I would just continue trying to walk on my way. I thought that with there only being one of these crazy turtles left I could move along. So I began walking and all of the sudden that slimy tongue stretched from the turtle's mouth and around my leg and I heard a loud, angry hiss that stopped me in my tracks. I decided that I was not going to let that stop me so I continued to walk forward when all of the sudden.... abetbeze
My brother walked up with a stick and began trying to swat at the wacked-out turtle. The turtle still had a pretty strong grip around my leg with his tongue, so I just kept walking with him dragging behind. My brother kept trying to lure the turtle away from me with the stick and finally, he released his tongue from my leg and crept toward my brother. My brother grabbed the turtle by its shell and.....sfountain
Slung him over the fence that was running along the road. We both knew this was our chance. We made a run for it! We could hear the turtle still hissing on the other side of the fence, but he couldn't find a way to get out. We didn't let this distract us. We kept running until we made it home. We told everyone the story of the wacked out turtle and they didn't believe us. My brother and I knew the truth, and we decided that we would never go walking down that dirt road anymore. cbowman
That night as I ate dinner with my family I could not stop thinking about that crazy turtle. I wondered if it would ever be able to find me again. That night I went to sleep and I knew that I would sleep good because I'd had such a long day. I fell asleep and the next thing I knew the wacked-out turtle met me in my dreams. I awoke suddenly to a loud noice that I could not identify because I was half asleep. I opened my eyes and .... abetbeze
Sitting beside me, staring with those beady eyes was the wacked-out turtle! I started to scream, but no sound would come out of my mouth. It was weird because it felt like I had no voice at all! The room started closing in on me and I panicked. What should I do? Where should I go? I looked at the window and thought about making a daring escape down the trellis, when out of nowhere.... sfountain
Another wacked-out turtle jumped through the window and started making that hissing noise. The turtles were coming towards me still making that hissing noise. I was so scared that I screamed for my brother. After I screamed for my brother, another wacked-out turtle jump through the widow with two heads. Now, I was in trouble, there were three turtles in my room and one of them had two heads. I had to think fast, I remembered that I had a knife under my pillow. I grabbed the knife and cut off one of the heads to the turtle with two heads. The turtle with two heads dropped dead soon as I cut off the head, but the other two turtles were still a big problem. One of the two remaining turtles bit at me but missed. Right after the turtle bit at me, my brother busted through the door with....rjackson
his baseball bat! He was like Babe Ruth (no other famous players come to mind), swinging his bat and mowing down each and every turtle in his path. All I could do was sit and watch. Could this really be happening? Sure there were crazy turtles in the road today, but how did they get in my room? What did they want with me? As these thoughts raced through my head, my brother took care of the last turtle with his bat. We looked around at the mess....dquinones
and started crying while we hugged each other. My brother asked me, "are you okay", and I said yes. After we cleared our minds we began to clean up the room. I went to the kitchen to get some trash bags, so we could put the dead wacked-out turtles in them. When I got back to my room, my brother and I pick up each turtle one at a time and put them into the trash bags. After we had cleaned up my room, we decided to take the trash bags outside so the house wouldn't smell. While we were walking outside carrying the trash bags, one of the turtles ripped through the trash bag my brother was carrying and.....rjackson
the entire mess in the bag spilled to the floor. Luckily, my brother was still holding his bat in his other hand. He tried to swing at the turtle and missed. The turtle attempted to hiss, at us, but he was injured so it sounded more like a cough. At this point I began to laugh and my brother looked at me like I was crazy. I started to think. Maybe I was going crazy, this situation was not in the least bit funny and we were both in danger. Surely this must all be a weird dream! My brother, keeping his cool, raised the bat...cbowman
and swoosh! We were knocked off of our feet while at the same time feeling a gust of air go by us. The turtle was gone! The large animal that had saved me earlier in the day was back again. big grizzly bear with two huge cuts on it's right front leg. The creature devoured the rest of the turtle and looked at my brother and me like he wanted to eat us too. The more the creature got closer, we realized the creature was a grizzly bear. The grizzly bear got about ten feet away from us and....rjackson
I woke up!!!!!!! It was all a dream... and I had a dream within my dream. As I am lying in bed, thankful for my nightmare to be over, my mother calls me downstairs for breakfast.
